Anna's Baptism

We had Anna's baptism today. It was a great day. When we walked in to church Luke began dancing to Amazing Grace. It was pretty cute. All the kids did great! We had a lunch at our house and the kids played. This was the first gathering of many as the holiday season is comng up! I am so excited!!! Okay, well I will post some pics now!

Luke and Anna

They are either laughing at each other or screaming at each other. The other day they were playing ring around the rosie. It was very cute, but Luke would throw her around also which was a little scary to watch, but she was laughing. He was also wrestling with her. She is going to be the toughest little girl. She has finally started to say his name, "OOOO" and Connor is "Ca Ca". Luke said the funniest thing the other night at dinner...we were having pizza and he got to the table, looked at his food, picked up his piece and said, "Come to Papa". Where does he get it???

Trick or Treat!

We survived another night of trick or treating. I think the kids had about 5000 calories each! Makayla and Abby came over to trick or treat and it was fun as usual. Connor sneezed on Makayla and she said, "Connor did not cover his mouth". We said well that is okay, and she said, "He "Bless You'd" all over me". It was hilarious! Oh well, I will just post some pictures!

Pumpkins!!!

Well, it is pumpkin carving time! We were supposed to go to a pumpkin patch this past weekend, but it was way too windy and cold. The kids were so disappointed so I took them to Walmart to get pumpkins and they were good with that. It is amazing the problems and Walmart can fix! Connor got into carving his pumpkin. He even got his hands dirty getting the seeds out. Anna ate part of the top of her pumpkin. She had a couple of bites before we saw what she was doing. Oh well! Luke go naked as usual. Mema and G-pa Sir came over to drop off some goodies and Luke put Anna's boots on and walked around with Steve's cane (note the picture). Other than that, not too much going on here. I better get going for tonight! Have a nice Halloween!

We're Back!!!!

Okay okay, I know it has been forever since I have updated. I am trying to turn over a new leaf. Actually, I am going to work real hard to just try and remember my password this time!!! Well, how is everybody?? The Hamilton's are as crazy as ever. We are back into our school routine. Connor is loving his school this year. I can't believe he will be in Kindergarten next year. It doesn't seem possible! Luke packs his backpack everyday to go to Stacy's. This is a big ordeal EVERY morning. He has to decide which trains to take! Anna is running the show. She picks out what shoes she wants the boys to wear every morning. If they don't want to wear that pair she throws a fit, and only she knows what she is saying! School is good this year. We have a lot of change, but I feel like things are settling down. Andy's season is slowing down now too which is nice. Oh well, I will post some pictures. I promise an update once a week!

Smores!

The kids have been spoiled almost every night that we grill (which is all the time) with smores after dinner. Here are some pictures of the nightly event. I have a hard time keeping Anna off the table. I am afraid she is going to be a table dancer!

Summer Time!!!

Well, summer is in full swing at the Hamilton house. We are into a great routine! The kids are so much fun. They always want to be outside or at the pool. We got the kids a new swing set that they LOVE! We also got a little pool for the backyard. I have a great babysitter to help me at the town pool. Her name is Haley and she is great with the kids and they LOVE her. I was afraid that Connor would be scared of the water, but he loves it! The first day we went he got out too far and was yelling for help and laughing at the same time. He wasn't going to be able to go under if he wanted to because he had on floaties and had a ring around his waist. The lifeguards were all laughing at him. Luke and Anna like the water too. Anna is walking everywhere. She is 1 going on 16. She pretty much runs the show. I will post some pictures now. I will try to get some of them at the pool. Enjoy these for now!

Anna is 1!!!

Well, Anna is almost one! We had her birthday this past weekend. It was a great party! We had 32 family and friends here. Luckily the storms held off until after the party. Connor and Luke had to "help" open all of Anna's presents. Then they both had to try on different hats that she got. I think Luke wore one of Anna's hats all day!

It is officially summer break here. I am already having so much fun with the kids. I love teaching (it is easier), but staying at home is so much fun! It is raining today and the kids have not gotten dressed yet (but that is nothing new for Luke!). Enjoy the pictures!

You and me going fishin in the dark!

The boys went fishing for the first time yesterday. We had a great time at Connie and Wade's house. Andy and I were talking about how our boys are never going to want to leave their house because of all the fun toys! They woke up talking about fishing. They did not catch anything...although I thought Luke was going to catch someone in the face since he would not leave the thingy (I am not a fisherman) in the water! It was so great to see all the cousins together. Family is so important. Thanks for the fun day!

Sleepy Boy!

The other night we were eating dinner and looked over at Luke who was eating his corn at the new picnic table and he was asleep while sitting up. Occasionally, he would wake up and take a few bites of corn. It was so funny. Andy got a new smoker for his birthday and we had his family down for smoked everything....he made a brisket, pork butt, and a chicken. It was all great! Oh well, I better get going. There is laundry to fold and put away....ALWAYS!

Easter Fun!

Easter was so much fun this year. I think the boys had a total of 5 egg hunts plus Connor had one at school. We had the community egg hunt on Saturday and that was a lot of fun! Then we had a nice Easter dinner at Mary and Steve's house. Then Sunday morning the Easter bunny had come to our house and the kids had new baskets and more eggs to hunt. They had it down to a science. Even Anna got into it on Sunday morning at home. She was the first one up and I made the mistake of putting her on the floor in the living room, where the Easter bunny had left some eggs, and she opened an egg an the next thing I saw was her drooling pink! I had to fish two robin eggs out of her mouth! We ended Sunday with a fun gathering at my parents' house. The kids had about 20 eggs each scattered all over the backyard. Tony was mad that he could not hunt with the kids. It was a fun holiday. It is so great to live so close to all of our family! Happy Easter!

Is Spring Coming??

I was beginning to wonder if Spring was going to come this year. You know it has been a tough winter when you say, "Hey, it is going to be middle to upper 30s today, you guys should play outside". Since when is 30 degrees nice? Well, it is better than a wind chill of -16 like earlier this week. What happened to this global warming thing? Anyway, we have two sick kids. Anna has ear infections in both ears and strep throat. Luke has the crud! He was up a couple of times last night. We left the kids home this morning and went to Claire's baptism. We called home after the service to check on Luke and he was still sleeping at 11:40! I think he is feeling a little better. Connor and Luke wanted to ride bikes outside today. Letting Luke go probably won't get us parents of the year since he is sick...but I think we were out of the race of parents of the year at about noon on January 1st! So, here are some pictures of the kids. Have a nice week!

I made it to 30!!!

Well, my 30th birthday was last week. I had a hard time with 30! The celebration started on Monday when I decided that I would celebrate the whole week and get a Dairy Queen cake to eat EVERY NIGHT! I will be paying for that this week. Then on Wednesday night, Andy surprised me with an overnight trip with some of our friends to the Horseshoe casino. We have been trying to make it to Vegas, but life is just too crazy right now! Then on Thursday the drill team brought me a cake. So, we had cake at 7:30am! All of my students were aware of my birthday because I have had a count down on my board all month! Then some of the teachers surprised me with breakfast rolls that should be considered a dessert. All day I had treats brought to my room, and my sister and brother sent me some beautiful flower. The card was addressed to their "Older Sister"...Ha Ha. Then I was sitting at my desk at school and I looked up and my good friends Stacy and April were standing in my doorway. They told me to get me stuff because we were going out. I was SHOCKED. It took me the whole ride to York to understand that I was not in charge of the plans. If you know me, then you know that I am usually the planner! We picked up another friend, Mary, and we went to dinner. Then we made our way back to Friend where we met more friends at the Country Club for cake and drinks. It was so much FUN! I don't have any pictures of my birthday to post yet, but when I get some I will post them!

We have this stocking hat that Luke got in the hospital because he was born on a Nebraska football game day. Well, the boys LOVE to wear this stocking hat. Connor will sleep with it in his bed and put it on at bedtime. It is so cute. So, I thought you might like to see some pictures of the kids from this week. I hope everyone has a nice week. I have to go to bed now because I am in my 30s!!!!
